Room 227 [Wednesday Afternoon]

Bridge is, for once, not building something.

Instead he's taking things apart, and slowly and methodically sorting all the bits and pieces into various piles.

In other words, he's just generally keeping himself busy and finding excuses to avoid interacting with people in public.

[door's closed, but open for interaction. maybe.]

"Technology?" Sam, already in a decent mood, perked up even further. "A job and a calling? Yeah, I get that. Kind of like the way my dad used to talk about the Air Force. Was there ever a problem with someone who did things for the wrong reasons, or where they made a mistake in who they went after? What happens then?"

"Yup," Bridge nods. "It's... sort of like armour, but is a bit more complicated, 'cause it also gives the wearer sort of instinctual knowledge of the weapons systems and stuff." Bridge tilts his head, and thinks about the Sam's question. "Would you laugh if I said something about space ninjas?"

"Space ninjas?" She grinned, wondering exactly who she'd have to talk to to get her hands on some of that armor. "No, no laughing."

"Okay, there was this guy, Lothor, who was... well, a space ninja. Anyway, he sort of kidnapped these two Rangers from Earth, and convinced them, somehow, that the other Rangers were the ones who had killed their parents. So, of course, these two went after the others and tried to get revenge."

"Well, *eventually*, everyone figured out what had gone wrong, and the Thunder Rangers went after Lothor. This was before Rangers were really any sort of 'official' law enforcement on Earth, so there wasn't any sort of punishment."

"So it just, what, got dropped or swept under the rug?"

[identity profile] bridge-carson.livejournal.com 2006-03-23 04:12 am (UTC)(link)
"Essentially, yeah." Bridge says with a shrug. "I think if that were to happen now, there would probably be some sort of punishment from the higher-ups at SPD, but back then there really wasn't any sort of higher authority on Earth for them to answer to."
