Room 227 [Friday Morning]

It's been practically a month, now, since Xander's been back. And after the craziness of the past week Bridge is finally ready to read the emails from him that had been sent over the years (from Xander's perspective) he'd been gone.

The first few emails... had the guilt about not being able to tell the truth before he'd left come back full force. But then again, if he had, and the universe *hadn't* exploded or anything, maybe Xander wouldn't have emailed at all, if he'd known they wouldn't go through.

He saves the handful of pictures that accompanied some of the emails, of course- and can't help the grin at the thought of two Xanders.

As he continues to read through the emails, a lot of the things Xander had mentioned since he'd returned start to make more sense. He'd known bits and pieces, through Dawn and his dreams, but suddenly there was a more complete picture.

And she *had* looked out for him, just like she'd promised, in the dream.
