After adventures in zero gravity in the common room last night, Bridge had headed back to his room and fallen asleep almost immediately.
His sleep was anything but restful, though.
It was exactly as he'd seen in his vision: The Academy, along with most of Newtech City, reduced to rubble.
Cruger and Dr. Manx were... gone. Nobody knew if they were alive or dead. He and the rest of C-Squad were the only ones left standing.
A pair of glowing red eyes.
A voice. "This planet is no longer of any use to me. Have it destroyed."
It was exactly as he'd seen in his vision, and he *still* hadn't been able to stop it from happening.
Bridge wakes with a gasp, fear making his blood run cold. From the other side of the room, RIC makes a concerned "cheep" noise.
"Shh," Bridge tells him, glancing over at Anders' bed. "Don't wake him up."
He glances over at the clock, which reads 4am. Yeah. So not going back to sleep anytime soon.
