Bridge is really grateful for the fact that he's getting a ride from the bus station right to the truck stop Z had said she was staying at, really. He's got nothing at all against the driver, who's been totally friendly (but not in a creepy, overly friendly kind of way).
No, it's the other occupant of the truck that's the problem.
"Baaa."
"Can you make it stop *looking* at me?" Bridge asks plaintively.
The truck driver shrugs apologetically. "Nope."
Which is how Bridge spends the rest of the half hour ride to the truck stop engaged in a staring contest with a lamb. As soon as they pull up to the parking lot, Bridge bolts out of the truck and heads for the building, anxious to make sure that yes, Z is still there and that she's in one piece.
"Thanks, dude!" he calls out over his shoulder.
[ooc: For Z!]
