Bridge & Xander's Quarters [Newtech City, 2023]

So, the Carson household (to use the term loosely, since it's definitely not a house and not really even an apartment to be honest) is now officially one with dual-income, no kids. Well, unless the new-and-improved, now-in-more-locations-than-ever-before Fandom weirdness struck again the way it did a couple of days ago.

Part of Bridge is actually kind of disappointed it skipped him. Not that he's gonna admit that.

"I miss having space," he comments randomly. Of course, his dorm room hadn't been bigger than their present quarters... but then, he'd practically moved out of the dorms in all but name only long before he'd actually left Fandom.

"I'll do my best," Bridge says, drawing back first one hand, then the other, to pull his gloves off with his teeth.

"Should I be worried that the sound of velcro unhooking turns me on now?"

"Nah," Bridge says. "I'd be more worried if it was a turn-off, because that'd kind of ruin the mood, don't you think?"

Xander says uh-huh or what was the question? or oh shut up and kiss me. Something like that. It's hard to tell; his mouth is busy.

And that's the nice thing about being psychic: Bridge gets the message anyway. Arguably, it's entirely possible he would've even without the psychicness, because the whole finding his own mouth kind of busy thing is sort of a clue.

Xander sometimes likes to be subtle like that.

Also he sometimes likes to demonstrate that the removal of clothes isn't entirely necessary for the getting of lucky, by way of fingers that find their way inside certain pantlike items as yet unremoved.

Oooh, hey, fingers, yes. Bridge completely agrees with this particular move. Not that he says so- at least, not in words. Sounds, yes. But not so much words.

Fine, yes, perhaps subtle is not entirely the name of the game here. Xander -- and his hands, and his mouth, and actually his toes have a similar opinion too -- lean towards effective being more important.

Effective it is indeed. And again Bridge makes a valiant attempt to vocalise just how effective Xander is being, here.

"I'll--" And then there's a pause for, you know. Converting oxygen to carbon dioxide. "Say one...thing for this place over Fandom. Walls are thicker."

Bridge lets out a rather breathless laugh. "I was just going to say that."

You know, when he remembered how to do that whole words thing.

"Also much better than the 'sharing a room with Sky' option."

"Ohgodyes," Bridge says in response to Xander. And also in response to, well, Xander.

"Yeah, good, yeah?"

Look, it's unconstitutional to ask people to make sense at times like these.

Bridge's reply comes by way of wriggling in an attempt to give Xander better access to... anything and everything Xander feels like accessing right about now. Bridge isn't about to be picky.

Which is all well and good but Bridge can't help but feel it'd go much better if there was much less pants in the way. And so there's more wriggling, to fix that.

Watch Xander object. Really. Of course "objecting" looks a lot like grinning and twisting around to replace fingers with mouth.

And Bridge would be smug about being right about this being much better, only hi, mouth and yes, please, there.

Watch Xander object to that too, rather than being smug about making Bridge forget to be smug.

Bridge is all too happy to let Xander be as smug as he wants right now, just as long as he continues doing what he's doing.

Since Xander can't actually see Bridge not being smug, what with his focus on other things, it's all good. Though possibly a little more attention there might make it even better.

Well he might not be able to see it, sure, it but the happy not-smugness is probably pretty noticeable anyway. And speaking of seeing, Bridge's is starting to do that cool sparking thing right about now.
