Bridge & Xander's Quarters [Newtech City, 2023]

So, the Carson household (to use the term loosely, since it's definitely not a house and not really even an apartment to be honest) is now officially one with dual-income, no kids. Well, unless the new-and-improved, now-in-more-locations-than-ever-before Fandom weirdness struck again the way it did a couple of days ago.

Part of Bridge is actually kind of disappointed it skipped him. Not that he's gonna admit that.

"I miss having space," he comments randomly. Of course, his dorm room hadn't been bigger than their present quarters... but then, he'd practically moved out of the dorms in all but name only long before he'd actually left Fandom.

And Bridge would be smug about being right about this being much better, only hi, mouth and yes, please, there.

Watch Xander object to that too, rather than being smug about making Bridge forget to be smug.

Bridge is all too happy to let Xander be as smug as he wants right now, just as long as he continues doing what he's doing.

Since Xander can't actually see Bridge not being smug, what with his focus on other things, it's all good. Though possibly a little more attention there might make it even better.

Well he might not be able to see it, sure, it but the happy not-smugness is probably pretty noticeable anyway. And speaking of seeing, Bridge's is starting to do that cool sparking thing right about now.

"Guh," Bridge is... pretty sure he meant to say a word, there.

Xander translates that word as more. Was that right?

Xander speaks Bridge so fluently he ought to have a degree in it.

He sort of does? He could probably help build one.

But that would be a different kind of Bridge than the one he's currently doing energetic things with his tongue to.

And if Xander were doing those sorts of energetic things with small-b bridges there might need to be a Talk. But he's doing them to Bridge, who is already... well beyond the ability to have a conversation right now.

And since Xander's also got a handicap in that area at the moment, it's probably better off for all concerned if he just sticks with the more.

Probably, yes. Especially since that sparking thing? Still going on. Getting more intense, even.

Including the one right... about... now, that one wouldn't even need any sort of detective-ing skills to pick up on.

Xander noticed, yes. He's hyper-aware like that.

Even when distracted by swallowing.

And multitasking like that is something Bridge can really appreciate. Like really really.

Eventually Xander gets it down to single-tasking, though, and grins up. "Lucky enough for ya?"

"I think I might just be the luckiest guy in the universe," Bridge grins back at Xander.

"Good. I aim to keep it that way," Xander tells him. "So expect more puns."

"Well, actually..." and he instigates a little shifting and shuffling of positions that results in him lying on top of Xander. "I was thinking of keeping you busy enough right that you wouldn't be *able* to think of any puns."

"I accept that challenge, and look forward to proving you right."

"Then let's not waste any time on getting started with that..." Bridge grins, leaning down to give Xander a kiss before working his way further downwards.

"Time is a terrible thing to waste," Xander agrees, not entirely coherently.

Bridge would reply to that, only his mouth is rather busy with the whole... working his way down thing. With a few detours involving Xander's skin and Bridge's tongue.
