"Okay then. Everyone know the rules?"

Catching the look, Chloe gave a little shrug. "I had a summer internship at a newspaper last year, and the guy I was seeing worked the late shift, so we'd always get together when it was really late. And one time, the office was kind of deserted, and we just...you know, didn't leave." It was times like these that Chloe wished she could perfect Veronica's headtilt.

"No, no, I totally get that." Anders chucks a thumb next door at the room that serves as ABC-DC's office. "There was one time we almost, um . . . there. But then there was total losing of nerve."
