Saturday mornings were, generally speaking, for sleeping in as long as possible (which really isn't that long, given that he's got work today). Well, or for random transformation-related weirdness to strike the island, but right now Bridge is unaware of anything like that occuring and so there's just the sleeping.

"Whowhahuh?" Bridge sleepily flails one arm in the direction of the bouncing.

"I dunno, I kinda think *sleep* is-" waaaaaitaminute. He cracks his eyes open and peers blearily at the bouncy little blur. The very familiar-looking bouncy little blur. "Xander?"

"Good morning to you too," Bridge can't help but grin.

"Good!" Bounce. "Morning!" Bouncebounce. "To!" Bouncebouncebounce. "You!"

Bridge sits up, looking thoughtful. "You don't think I'm too big for jumping on the bed?" he asks.

Xander looks down as he's bouncing. "S'a really big bed!"

"Weeeeeell in that case, it'd be pretty silly of me to not jump too, huh?"

"Yuh-huh! Beds 'r made for jumping!" And sleeping, but pssssh. Details.

"I totally agree, little dude," Bridge says, holding one hand above his head so that he touches the room's ceiling every time he jumps. "What should we have for breakfast?"

"Sketties?" Xander suggests. Not that he really wants sketties for breakfast. He just wants to see what Bridge will say.

Oh, like Bridge could say no to that face. Besides, spaghetti isn't *that* weird, considering the number of times they've had something like pizza for breakfast. "Sure, if that's what you want," he says. "I was gonna make pancakes, though..."

Hmm. This requires consitterayshun. "We could have sketties and pancakes!"

Bridge laughs. "We absolutely could," he agrees. "That's an excellent solution. You're very smart." Okay, it's not exactly what one would call a *balanced* meal but see above re: not being able to say no.

Xander slows down the bouncing. A little. Which actually kind of knocks him over, since now most of the bounce is coming from a much bigger person.

Oof. "Nuh-uh. Willow's smart. I'm just funny."

"You are too smart," Bridge argues. "Being funny is a kind of smartness, 'cause you gotta know how to make people laugh, right?"

Xander frowns thoughtfully. "Is that what don't get smart with me means?"

Bridge's frown is less thoughtful and more just frowny. "Who said that?"

Xander shrugs. "My Dad. Sometimes teachers."

Yeah, Xander's dad? So off the list right now. Not that he'd ever really been on it, but if he had that would've pushed him off. "That's not- not the kind of thing grownups should say to kids," is all he says.

Xander shrugs again. "It's okay. Sometimes I talk when I'm not s'posed to and stuff 'cause I think of something really funny and I forget."

"Hmmm," Bridge says, *now* frowning thoughtfully as he makes one final bounce to get himself off the bed. "How about I make you a deal?"

Xander, still clad in the same duckie pajamas he went to sleep in... just slightly less of them...rolls over and slides off the edge of the bed, then looks up at Bridge.

"Okay!" he answers immediately. "What?"

"If you think of something funny, I wanna know about it too. Don't worry about whether you're supposed to talk or not, okay?" Bridge says. "Cause as far as I'm concerned, there's no such thing as 'Xander's not supposed to talk' time."

"Not even if there's a pock-lips happening?" He's not entirely sure what a pock-lips is, but he's fairly sure somebody said they were Xander don't talk times.

"Not even then," Bridge says, holding out pyjama-mittened-hand for Xander to take.

"Okeydokey!" Xander grabs his hand and tugs him towards the kitchen, then pauses in the doorway. "Hey, I thought of something funny!"

"Yeah?" Bridge says as he lets himself be dragged. "What's that?"

"What do veteg-- veggie-tarian zombies eat?"

"I dunno, what?"

"Graiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiins!" Xander groans dramatically.

Which causes Bridge to crack up because that is seriously cute on top of being a cheesily funny joke. "I hope *you* haven't turned in to a vegetarian zombie," he says. "Cause I think grains for breakfast means the really boring kinds of cereal and that's not on today's menu."
