Echolls Estate [Saturday Evening]

The ballroom of the mansion is done up in the same mostly-green colour scheme as the wedding ceremony. There's no assigned seating- unless you're in the wedding party, and then you're at the head table (unless you felt like moving around, of course, because gluing people to their seats was not part of the plan)- just several small tables around the room. Off to the side there's also a table meant for wedding gifts. There is, of course, plenty of food and drink, including the most important food-item of them all: the cake Piper had crafted exactly to Xander and Bridge's specifications.

"That's my story," Angel told her.

"And a life-changing story it is," Parker responded, swallowing a giggle. "I'm torturing Logan with ideas of you two getting married now that it's legal in California, by the way. Him and Bel." She grinned. "Just in case it comes up."

"Why would Logan marry Bel?" Angel asked.

The sad thing was he knew about her jokes with Logan. He still got confused.

The really sad thing was? Parker saw a way to torture him still further. And yet, still had to say with a not-nearly-straight-enough face, "Oh, just practice. You know. So if Bel and Anders and Phoebe get married, Bel doesn't get cold feet?"

Too far.

"I'm not drunk enough to fall for that," Angel told her.

"Damn. I'm too happy, that's the problem," Parker said, barely caring. "If I were in a worse mood, I could've pulled that off." She grinned. "Or thought of something better. Because God, you're easy."
