Echolls Estate [Saturday Evening]

The ballroom of the mansion is done up in the same mostly-green colour scheme as the wedding ceremony. There's no assigned seating- unless you're in the wedding party, and then you're at the head table (unless you felt like moving around, of course, because gluing people to their seats was not part of the plan)- just several small tables around the room. Off to the side there's also a table meant for wedding gifts. There is, of course, plenty of food and drink, including the most important food-item of them all: the cake Piper had crafted exactly to Xander and Bridge's specifications.

[ooc: Reception is open for business!]

"You're not fourteen," she said with a smile, "so I'm not going to tell you to take it slowly, but I will offer to get you something else."

"Alcohol doesn't actually work on my metabolism," she replied, raising an eyebrow over her glass-- which she was also raising. "Which is why I haven't. But if it's scotch from the Stone Age..."

She laughed at that. "Oh, very nice. I'll have you know I'm not quite that old. And it's the finest scotch money can buy, worth it for the taste alone."

"Here's to that," she snorted, taking a good sip of it. "And to no more weddings for the forseeable future. I'm not sure I can ever see the color green again."

Harriet tipped her glass towards Kerrigan's toast. "To that, and to no funerals, while we're at it," she said, and took a long sip, before settling back to watch their fellow wedding goers.
