Bridge and Xander's Quarters, SPD Academy HQ, [Friday Evening, 2024]

Neither Bridge nor Xander had really noticed anything strange about the past few days.

Which is not to say they hadn't been affected exactly, just that there wasn't enough of a departure from their usual, er, routine, for either of them to entertain the possibility of Fandom Weirdness or other strangeness going on.

And that brings us to Friday night, post giant-robot-battle, where Bridge is rather briskly stalking through the hallways of SPD HQ and throwing open the door to his and Xander's quarters, muttering "Please be home, please be home, please be- Xander, please say you're home?" that last was maybe a bit plaintive. Juuust a bit.

"I think people might have an issue with me fixing windows naked too," Xander points out, lifting his arms so Bridge can help with at least one part of the layers problem.

"Mmm, maybe," Bridge says. Also now that he really thinks about it, he's not particularly inclined to *share* naked-Xander with the world.

"I could fix a window naked for you sometime," Xander suggests. Of course for that they'd actually have to have a window in their quarters. Or a really good lookout for the hallway. RIC, maybe?

"I- okay!" If that comes out kind of squeaky-sounding... blame the breeze he's suddenly feeling due to lack of layers. Yes.

"It's both kinky and disturbing that that turns you on," Xander says, fingers starting for the catch on those uniform pants. "I like it."

Even on a 'normal' (well, for Fandom-and-PR-universe-influenced versions of normal) day, pretty much anything naked-Xander-related is gonna turn Bridge on.

"Yes, well. You're very... talented, with the fixing things. And you're talented when we're doing things that require nakedness. So, you know, mix the two together, and. Yes. Just be careful with tools and things."

"I'm always careful with my tools." Pun so, so intended, and also physically demonstrated with a hand down bridge's pants.

The totally witty retort Bridge has ready for this vanishes when he reaches to do the same to *Xander's* pants and finds-

"Heeeeey. Did you know you're not wearing any underwear?"

"Two minutes ago you said it was cold," Bridge points out with a grin.

"I lied!" Xander points out with a very serious I am making a cogent argument here face.

"To a police officer?" Bridge gives Xander a shocked look.

"...Is that bad?" His innocent face... isn't very.

"S'at least a misdemeanor," Bridge says with a nod.

"What's the punishment for that?" Xander asks. "Please don't say Tiny Card Jail."

Bridge grins and resumes attacking Xander's pants with... well he'd already been doing so with enthusiasm, so, more enthusiasm?

"I'm sure I can come up with an alternate punishment," he says.

"Just like getting out of detention in Fandom," Xander says with a grin and a little hitch in his breath. Yes, the only detention he'd ever got in Fandom, he didn't get out of, or want to. Hush.

"Somehow I don't think they involved things like this," Bridge retorts, leaning forward to press a kiss to Xander's mouth.

"I'd have caused a lot more trouble in school if they did," Xander says, returning the kiss and lifting his hips up towards Bridge's body at the same time.

"Yes, well, now you'll just have to settle for causing trouble for me. With me. One of those."

"How about both?" Xander's hands run down his back, tracing the muscles, tapping patterns on his skin.

Which feels really, really nice, and Bridge closes his eyes, taking a moment or two to just enjoy the feeling. "I think we could make that work, yeah."

"We can take turns playing Good Cop, Bad Carpenter."

"Cept that's not entirely accurate, because like I said, you're talented with the fixing things."

"Evil Carpenter?" Xander suggests, laughing.
