bridge_carson | Room 121 [Thursday Night]

Even though he hadn't been the one saying goodbye to everyone, the day had still been kind of tiring, from an emotional point of view. The fashion show in the fifth floor common room had provided an... interesting change of pace, at least.

But now it was much later, and the door was closed and it was just the two of them.

Xander's not moving, not now. He's never hated morning more, and that includes the one where he woke up the stairwell - but at the same time, it's the best one ever, if he can just keep it right where it is.

Bridge shifts slightly, still half-asleep. "Mrrph," he says intelligently.

"Five more minutes, Sky," Xander says, because somebody has to.

Bridge giggles at that, though the giggle is slightly muffled due to the fact that his face is currently pressed up against Xander's shoulder.

He could slap the alarm (which hasn't gone off yet but will in a minute or two) and try to fall back asleep, but now that he's awake, Xander really doesn't want to give up an extra second of time that he could remember.

"Mornin'," Bridge says, blinking himself into a somewhat-more-awake state.

Xander glances at the clock. "So should I tell you how long we have left to lay around and not move, or would you rather not know?"

"Don't tell me," Bridge says, after a moment. Because then he can pretend there isn't a time-limit.

"Okay." Xander turns the clock away so he can't see it either, and taps the snooze button to give them... a little more time, anyway.

"Maybe if we stay very, very still, time won't move at all either?"

"I can do quiet," Bridge says with a whisper.

"Maybe we should hide under the covers from it?" Xander suggests, also in a whisper. "We could build a fort like John's. Only with less accidental homoeroticism and more with the on purpose."
