Echolls Estate [Saturday Evening]

The ballroom of the mansion is done up in the same mostly-green colour scheme as the wedding ceremony. There's no assigned seating- unless you're in the wedding party, and then you're at the head table (unless you felt like moving around, of course, because gluing people to their seats was not part of the plan)- just several small tables around the room. Off to the side there's also a table meant for wedding gifts. There is, of course, plenty of food and drink, including the most important food-item of them all: the cake Piper had crafted exactly to Xander and Bridge's specifications.

"Today's a happy day," she said. "We don't need to have this conversation now."

He grinned. "It was. Glad I didn't miss it." People were going to ask. He might as well take that one head-on.

"The AC and the elevator are out. There's an ant problem. The management doesn't seem to care."

She nodded, relieved that it hadn't been something worse. Like a bald demon with a vendetta. "It happens."

He nodded and stretched a little. "So who's getting married next?"

"Too bad we're not in the same dimension," Angel said.

"Shockingly, one of his, not one of ours." Xander fiddled with the nearest cake-knife. "Except I guess they're mine too, now. Yay, community property?"

"Not me, that's for sure," Veronica said. "And apparently not Logan and Angel. Maybe Cole and Phoebe."

Summer wandered over to Bridge and smiled. "Congratulations."

"Why?" Veronica asked.

"Remember that freaky little doll Parker grabbed from the equally freaky little girl? The one that kept kicking Anders in the shins? The girl, not the doll."

Bridge nods. "We're heading back to Fandom tonight so we can have tomorrow morning to finish packing, well... everything. And then we're off in the afternoon."

"You guys are leaving Fandom?"

Somehow, Chris hasn't considered that.

"No reason," Angel said.

"Only after ten years. Then all your demons are belong to him."

"Um," Angela said, shuffling her feet. "Was that seriously possible?" She was willing to pretend Xander just got a little lost on his way to the altar.

Veronica shook her head. "So, you gonna dance with me later?"

Bridge snorts. "We thought about spending the night at the hotel here in Neptune, but... there's still some packing to do, back at the apartment in Fandom, so we're doing that tomorrow morning, and then heading off in the afternoon."

"Z and I are kind of needed in Newtech City," Bridge explains. "Being a Power Ranger isn't a telecommuting kind of career."

Chris frowns. "I'm gonna miss you, dude."

"Now I'm wondering if they'd go for a beach wedding too," he replied, trying not to think on it too much.

"That was one rescue party I wasn't on, so I missed those details," she told him. "But it's Fandom. It's not entirely unexpected. Let me guess, she came back?"

"Cole and Phoebe? Who knows," she shrugged. "Logan and Angel? Nah, they'd go for a quickie service in Vegas or something."

"Awesome," Angela said. "Where are you guys going?"

Parker was both sad and gleeful that she hadn't gotten to throw shoes at anyone. But hey! Time for the celebrating with alcohol and dancing!
