Echolls Estate [Saturday Evening]

The ballroom of the mansion is done up in the same mostly-green colour scheme as the wedding ceremony. There's no assigned seating- unless you're in the wedding party, and then you're at the head table (unless you felt like moving around, of course, because gluing people to their seats was not part of the plan)- just several small tables around the room. Off to the side there's also a table meant for wedding gifts. There is, of course, plenty of food and drink, including the most important food-item of them all: the cake Piper had crafted exactly to Xander and Bridge's specifications.

Xander is... not moving very far from Bridge.

He will. Eventually. Sometime. But not now.

Which made it easier for Cameron to find Xander once he was done talking to Bridge. "Congrats, dude."

Xander might be a little quieter than usual, but that didn't mean he wasn't sporting the loudest grin ever. "Thanks, dude. ...I am still allowed to say dude, right? My copy of the Grown Up Married People Handbook seems to have gotten lost in the mail."

"I'd hope so. It'd be pretty lame and I don't think a lot of people would marry if you couldn't," Cameron replied. His response was possibly sponsored by the few glasses he'd had by now.

And that would be Dawn giving him ye olde stink-eye from down at her end of the table and mouthing, "You okay?"

Xander was willing to get as far from Bridge as 'down the table.' Maybe. He nodded and moved down to grab an empty seat for a moment. "We're good. Monster attack." It was more complicated than that, of course, but not untrue.

"Shockingly, one of his, not one of ours." Xander fiddled with the nearest cake-knife. "Except I guess they're mine too, now. Yay, community property?"

Angela had to visit Xander after congratulating Bridge. "That was an awesome ceremony."

He grinned. "It was. Glad I didn't miss it." People were going to ask. He might as well take that one head-on.

"Um," Angela said, shuffling her feet. "Was that seriously possible?" She was willing to pretend Xander just got a little lost on his way to the altar.

"This," said Anders from the other side of Bridge, "is supposed to be where I tell you that you better take care of him or there's gonna be Words and other possibly capitalized vague threats, but I think you've had a long enough day as it is."

"I really have," Xander agreed. "Besides, I'm pretty sure Cal's dull spoon threat is still in effect. Like, permanently."

"It was your evil twin, I can't prove it, nobody saw you, the DNA test was a fake," Parker continued on in that vein. "And I'm not a lawyer yet, but I'll swear to it to anyone who asks!" She grinned wide, then looked around for something to whap him with. "Also? NICE HEART ATTACK. What, you couldn't find your cuff links?"
